Remote SSL VPN Client - update 209-8

I have a few UTM v 9.209-8 ASG that after the update was applied my SSL VPN road warriors complained about slow and unreliable connectivity. 
-
I have tried with two different computers in three different locations and the end result is the same;

• continuous ping to the gateway external host address ( No drops )
  
• continuous ping to the gateway via the internal address while using SSL VPN (No drops) 
  
•  continuous ping to anything behind the gateway, server, workstation etc intermittent connectivity an unusually high reply times (70ms - 380ms)

Has anyone else seen the same characteristic after applying this update?
