SSL VPN problem - connects but not going green

Hello All,

Within the last couple weeks we've be encountering issues with users that have the SSL VPN 2.0 client installed on their windows7 machines. The client connects, but the Stoplight icon never goes green.  It stays at yellow and in the log the last line is "PUSH Request".  All my routes work correctly and I can connected just fine, but the stop light never goes green.

I even did a brand new install on a brand new machine of mine at home and I get the same thing.  If I uninstall the client and resintall the same thing happens.  If I uninstall and then make sure to delete the  Sophos directory and resinstall it, it worked for several hours, but after sometime the problem happens again.

So far it seems users with older vpn client(not 2.0) do not have this issue.

Any ideas?  As of this weekend I am at the latest Sophos UTM release, but  last week I was 5 updates behind and I still had the same problem.

Thanks,
-Scott

  • HI, Scott,

How about the client and UTM logs for a single connection attemtpt?

Do I understand correctly that everything works correctly except the light is yellow?

    Cheers - Bob
