OpenVPN 2.12 now available

A minor update, v.2.12 has shown up on OpenVPN's website.  Fixes some issues and includes a little security patch.

    The User connect to SSL VPN and sometimes he can´t connect to our servers.
    He can only ping the IP of the Host not the Hostname.
    Now you must execute a " ipconfig /registerdns " and it works.


    Yes, that was a long standing bug, but I've found the reason for it lately and it should be fixed in the upcoming ASG V7.508 and ASG V8.002. "Should" be fixed because it's not a solution that will work in 100% of the setups, but I expect at least 97%. In combination I've done a total number of ~20.000 successful connects with XP, Vista and 7 during testing. I'll work out a final solution with the openvpn guys later. If you still run into problems let me know.

    Issuing "ipconfig /registerdns" had the side effect of renewing the lease on the SSL VPN adapter which successfully set the DNS server in the Windows resolver. So, a "ipconfig /renew" would have done it as well.
