dyndns vs. no-ip?

I should be able to use a no-ip dns with an asg right?
If so what username and password do they need imputed into the asg?

Ok, i got a dyndns now and it says connection refused when i try to access the new name via web browser.

the error is now.
Received invalid request from Client

I am trying to VPN in so far i have these following services with the following rule enabled.

any->internal network

l2tp
vpn protocols
ipsec esp
ipsec ah
ipsec nat-t

missing any?
the live filter says TCP
drop 192.168.1.101 : 1276→ 192.168.1.5 : 1723

Are you talking about VPN or DynDNS, or both?

Please describe your configuration further, and exactly what is not working.

I hope that any>internal rule isn't allowing all internet traffic in.

basically im trying to configure dyndns then setup a vpn connecton. i go to my dyndns name and it says Received invalid request from Client

Are you using Astaro's DynDNS setup, or something on another computer?

What version of Astaro are you using?

i am using astaro 7 and yes im using astaro dyndns setup.

7.0, 7.1, or 7.2?

There were reportedly some DynDNS bugs in earlier 7.x versions, but it's working for me with 7.20x.

Are you doing a wildcard or anything else unusual?
