Hi,
i just try since today morning to establish a VPN-tunnel with a vodafone 3G-Mobile connect-UMTS-Card. My ASC-version is 8.2.
i tried 2 possibilities: the first was to configure the connection in ASC to select LAN/WLAN as "transmitting medium". in this configuration i established the connection with the vodafone software. i received the APN-hostname, a username and a password for VPN-supporting connections from the vodafone-support before.
But more than a IKE-phase 1 and the beginning of 2 i did not get. Traversal NAT is activated on the ASL (i must do this, because i get a 10.x ip adress from the vodafone network).
the second variant was to change the "transmitting medium" to 'UMTS/GRPS' and choose ASC to initiate the connection. But constantly i got the error message "no carrier signal"...
can anybody help me to configure the ASC succesfully or can me give some tips maybe?
