Linksys BEFSR41 and Windows 2000 IPSEC

Hi:
Need a quick answer. Are there any known issues with ASL and Linksys devices? I have a Windows 2000 network at one end behind a Linksys BEFSR41 using Win2K ISPEC policies. ASL is at the other end. If I go straight to the @HOME modem on the Win2K side in a HOST-TO-NET configuration it works great to ASL. As soon as I introduce the Linksys at the Win2K end, IPSEC dies. I have ISPEC passthru turned on in the Linksys. Just covering both ends to check....

Have you gotten the most recent version upgrade from Linksys? Very important IPSec passthru.

Hi:
Yes, I'm using 1.39.
Question: How do I setup the Win2K client policy behind the Linksys. Is it Host-to-Net or Net-to-Net? I've tried both with no luck.

have you tried putting this win2k box on the dmz of the linksys? (I assume that this model number is the router/switch) I don't know that it would help, but I have had some success resolving ftp issues this way.

Hey !
Does anybody knows something about that issue...
i have the same problem here.. W2K IPSEC client 1.4 with ASL 3.214 at the end. When i debug the IKE proposal, the phase 1 goes well but hte phase 2 fail. I've check all Ipsec pass thru rules and everything is fine. Linksys firmware is 1.44.

any help !!!

Linksys v1.39 is *NOT* the most current edition.

It's up to 1.44 now.
