Darrell, If you mean SSH access to your UTMs, then yes, they are troubleshooting something and they need to take a look. If you mean SSH access to Sophos Enduser Protection (Sophos Enterprise Security Console) resources on Windows servers, then you need to post in the https://community.sophos.com forums. You used the words "production servers" and thus the confusion.

Yes, I know this (regarding SSH) but the post was vague.
So yes... Sophos often does need SSH access into the UTMs to diagnose some issues.
