SIP Device Registration Fails

I am registering two sip phones internally to an IPPbx and the PBX does not recite the registration request.  I have enables DNAT Rules to forward port 5060 to the proper IP Address Also Enabled voip services under network protection.  I tested Xlite on a PC to register an extension and it registers fine to port 5060.  These phones are on the same network/subnet.  Not sure where else to look?  Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • Not to mention does your SIP config files specify the "permit" option for a specific subnet only? That'll be an issue if you're registering from a different subnet than the one the PBX is on

  • What other ports do your sip phones use, you might need to add a rule to allow them out if they are not standard ports.

I allowed my VoIP phones to send any port out to overcome the issue you are describing. I have two VoIP phones from different companies.

I have a DNAT for the incoming calls.
