Web filter - Warn

How can I setup a webfilter without any sso or agent or browser authentication?

I added a policy that applies to anyone and at any time, but it does not take affect. testing the filtering using the test url option says that it should warn but when you browse to the sites categorized as warn, nothing happens.

I set the global setting to Standard. When set to transparent or full transparent websites do not even load.

how am i supposed to make this work? Its never worked for me. thanks.

  • Hmmm, hopefully, in the mean time, you've RTFM! [;)]  I can't tell what you've done, but it sounds like you think that Policies are additive and that's not the case.  The first Policy that a request qualifies for is the only one that will be applied to that request.  This is the same behavior for all ordered lists in WebAdmin.
