UTM sometimes slow down.

Hi,

I'm deploy UTM Sophos on Vmware Esxi, using full transparent mode. The thing is sometimes, users connect to web very slowly. At that time, the WebAdmin is slow also. But if I ping UTM or ping 8.8.8.8, the speed is still good. 

But the more strange thing is that after I reset the UTM, the problem still happen. And after a period of time, everything is good again. Good status often last for about 2,3 days, and then the issue come. 

I also tried installing UTM on another server, but seems not work. 
Please give me some advice. Thank you so much.

    I tried allocating 6 gigs ram for UTM, but it's still slow. But I realize that If I disable Web Filtering, the WebAdmin will be smooth. Then I enable it again and immediately, the WebAdmin slow down. So I think there is something wrong with Web Filtering. 

    Please give me some more advice.

    The web filter while it has its issues doesn't tend to go slow unless there is either a miconfiguration or slow hardware or both.

    we need more details.  give us full specifications on yhour host: 
    cpu 
    ram
    hard disk
    nics
    vmware version
    modules in use
    number if users
    lan speed
    wan speed
    number of vcpus allocated to vm
    amount of ghz allocated to vm

    CPU: Intel Xeon CPU E3-1220 V2 @3.1Ghz. 1 Sockets, 4 cores per sockets.
    RAM: 8GB
    HDD: 2.7TB
    4 NICS 1GB
    Vmware ESXi 5.5.0

    VM Allocation:
    CPU: 4 cores
    RAM: 6GB
    3 NICS: 1 nic for management, 2 nics for bridge.
    Mode: Full transparent
    HDD: 500GB

    Number of users: 500-600

    how much of the total ghz have you allocated to the vm?  500-600 users?  you should have a paid license.  have yhou contacted support/your reseller?

    There's not any Ghz option on Vmware, I can just allocate 4 core for CPU. 
    My manager intend to buy the license, but he won't do it until we get a good result of testing.

    Could you suggest how much performance of the server we should have to run it smoothly? I'm new with this device, so I really need your help. Thank you so much for your consideration.
