Qos mbit/s or kbit/s ???

Hello, Reading the QOS Guide from here and also Reading QOS Section under "Help" it should be kbit/s for bandwith on interfaces that have to be set correctly for QOS.

But if i go QOS > Status i see that all the interfaces have Default 1024 mbit/s 

So it is correct that if a have an 50mbit/s down and 6mbit/s up on My WAN Interface i do select it like on my picture?
