Dyn DNS Configuration

Hi Guys,
Can someone help with with a quick and dirty guide to configuring Dyn DNS to work with Sophos? I'm trying to setup my firewall to allow remote access to my Network Video Recorder.

Hi mexim,

Start with a new DNAT rule which forwards DVR port from your public interface address to the IP address of the device.
Try to access device from the outside using your public IP address, if it works you can later register a DynDNS name and configure UTM for DynDNS updating.

Thanks viilic. Does this mean i have need a public/live/static ip to get this done?
