Unable to ping api.copy.com

Hello,

I'm puzzled.

Need to be able to reach api.copy.com, but from workstation I'm unable to ping it. Yet from our ASG220 v8.311 > Support > Tools, I àm able to ping.
Can't find any reference in filtering the logs for copy.com or ip starting with 64.325.151.
The workstations' gateways are set to this ASG220.

Disabled country code, no luck. Network Security > Firewall > ICMP, everything related to 'ping' is on...
Other sites like google, no issues when pinging from workstations.

Maybe a Packet Filter can solve this, but before that I hope to learn what is happening here, e.g. what's or where it is blocking.

Anyone a hint or clue perhaps [:S]

Hi, and welcome to the User BB!

Ping behavior is regulated on the 'ICMP' tab of 'Firewall'. Did checking a box or two there resolve your issue?

Hi Bob,

Thank you for responding.

But everything ping-related is ticked on the ICMP tab. And other sites I have no issues pinging.

Intrusion Prevention is off.

Application control is off.

Downloaded all logs as a zip, unpacked, used Grep and searched the unpacked files for filename *.* with 64.325.151 or copy.com in it. Result is zero lines found.

Under Web Security > Web filtering I fully disabled Web Filtering, also no result.
Then of course enabled Web Filtering again.

I'm clueless

I find 52 results.

Finally Resolved :-)

In Network Security under NAT > Masquerading, changed the object "from Internal (Address) to Public" into "from Internal (Network) to Public".

Internal (Address) is our Astaro IP-address. This is why the Astaro itself was able to ping.
Changed this in Internal (Network), which is our entire internal range. Now we are able to ping from any device :-)
