I found a previous post suggesting to shell into UTM and " type top hit enter press s then 1 then enter press 1 now run the test again and watch to see what your cpu usage really is. "
I found that snort 21974 was showing up and at 99% during the speed test
I basically found this server on craigslist for $100 and loaded UTM9 on it. It only has one xeon processor but a second one is about $25 on ebay for the same one.
Will UTM9 see the second processor? Are 2 dual core 2.33 Xeon processors not enough?
It will...what other features are you using?..the second CPU may or may not help...really need to know what features you are using...and which model xeons..not just the ghz
