James, try what I call Rule #1:

Whenever something seems strange, always check the Intrusion Prevention and Firewall logs.

Here is what came up in the IPS log the two times I tried, 10.2.5.210 is my local IP.

So i created an exception in the IPS section that skips an Intrusion Prevention scan for the host 90.84.59.35.

Should that do the trick?

I guess there is only one way to find out

ok so that didnt work as another 90.X.X.X address showed up. I have since disabled the 2101 ID.

it was 7811 the entire time!
