Skype Problem

Hi
i have problem with Skype, it couldn't online. I've disabled the IPS, Web filtering, and only create a rule consists of   internal ---> Any ---> Any, Allow with one masquerading NAT Internal ---> Internet (interface) but the issue persists. the Skype work with 80 and 443 ports but when i captured the Skype's Packets with Wireshirk i saw that it uses the other ports However with this rule it It must have worked... I've restarted and reset factory but.... but the behind of the Firewall it works [:S]

    Hi, Skype will try multiple methods of connecting; if SOCKS fails, it will probably try something else (TCP/UDP ports as well as HTTP/HTTPS).

    Yeah...creating a rule allowing HTTPS worked but unfortunately I cant do that because users would just remove the proxy settings in their browsers to bypass proxy (before you say, their AD is kinda of screwed so I cant config GPOs to restrict that now).

    skype is a p2p based program..there's no real solid way to restrict in the way you want without causing other issues.


    So basically I cant do what I want (allow for some and restrict for the rest)? [:(]
