NAT problem

My network structure is as follows:

internal: 192.168.0.0/24 gw: 254(astaro)
External: 211.174.X.1(astaro) gw: 254
External second: 211.174.X.2(astaro)

internal - ASTARO -External

default setting

DNAT: Internet -> 211.174.X.2 convert 192.168.0.2
SNAT: 192.168.0.2 -> 211.174.X.2 convert 211.174.X.1

The problem?
can't convert to 211.174.X.1 (SNAT does not apply)

A solution to this problem?

  • please define your quation pointwise. what u want to do ?
  • take note. NAT couldn't be applied when traffic is passing throuh webproxy.

    Onats.

    *thanks barry
  • Hi arokjh, I don't really understand your SNAT description... can you post a screenshot, or at least an exact list of the settings for that SNAT?

  • SNAT: 192.168.0.2 -> 211.174.X.2 convert 211.174.X.1

    It looks like your traffic selector might be wrong. Use "Internet" instead of "211.174.X.2" - did that do what you want?

    If the IPs are on separate interfaces you will need a policy route to get the traffic to the right interface.
