There are HUGE performance differences between these models.
Also, 1GB RAM is low for modern versions of Astaro. Very low if you're using many Astaro features (I believe the minimum recommendation for v9 is 2GB; more if you're using many features).
Please post your RAM usage and CPU usage graphs.
Also, try turning off the following systems to see if it improves performance: 1. IPS 2. Web Security aka Content Filter 3. SMTP proxy 4. Traffic Classifier / Application Detection
Just for the SIP test app: 5. disable SIP proxy (you'll need to have a PacketFilter rule to allow outbound SIP traffic)
If none of that helps, leave everything disabled, REBOOT, and test again (to eliminate a memory leak).
Note that MANY users have SIP devices inside Astaro, and do not experience these problems.
If you have other traffic on your networks, turn it off and see if that makes a difference. If that helps, then you may need to setup QOS in Astaro to prioritize SIP traffic.
