Problems with high Packet loss and jitter

I have the Home edition 8.306 and get a jitter of 8.4 ms and a 10.4% packet loss. Can someone please help me to troubleshoot this issue?

    Hi,

    1. What program are you testing with?
    If it's using HTTP, it may be affected by the http proxy / content filter / web security.

    2. What is your CPU? 
    3. How busy is it? (see Reporting - Hardware and/or run 'top)

    4. How much bandwidth are you using from other connections when you're testing?

    5. What brand NICs are you using?

    6. run 'ifconfig' and check for interface errors
