QOS setting

I would like to turn on QOS but do not know what interface to enable. Do I enable the external (WAN) interface of the internal (LAN) interface?

    As a thumb rule, always look at QOS stream from Astaro's interface -> out of Astaro.
    First you should decide what you want to do, and then choose which interface to apply it to.
    For example, if you want to limit upload stream, then it would be like Scott said - the Wan interface.
    If you want to limit Download stream, then it would be The Lan interface
