I am using a a hosted PBX Service.
I have a single Aastra 6757i CT, with a static Ip Address
ASL 7.504 running on ASG 110 hardware.
I was using the VoIP Security and it was working but then started running into issue where my calls were going straight to voicemail. Outbound calls were fine. If I restarted the phone, I could receive calls for about 1 minute or so, after a few minutes everything back to voicemail
I have created a packet filter rule to that allows that static address to go to my VoIP providers servers only. i.e. myphone -->myphoneproviders servers. Right now that is my only working solution.
I checked the packet filter logs to ensure nothing getting dropped from that phone's ip address
Has anyone run into a similar issue or have any suggestions ?
Do I really need to use the VoIP proxy in my configuration ?
