Warn-032, 033

Exactly what happens to trigger Warn-032 (Network down) & Warn-033 (Network up) warnings?

I am continuously getting network down about every 5 minutes for one of my WAN connections.  The network comes up after about 45 seconds.  All through this, I do not lose connectivity, so I would like to trace down what is being done to trigger the warning to see if there are other underlying network issues.

    Where is this specified and where can I setup re-tries before alerting?  Also is there a long entry generated for the actual ping and response?

    I see where the server to ping in the Automatic monitoring section can be designated but I would still like to see where I can specify the retries and the time between pings before an error is generated in the monitoring.

    Another question as arisen in regard to using multiple WAN connections in a failover mode instead of multipath mode in uplink balancing.  When two connections are designated for use in uplink balancing in failover mode it looks like there is NO traffic allowed in or out on the failover WAN connection until it is called into service in a failover condition.  I can't even ping the gateway address on our backup DSL line from the Astaro.

    I am curious if the automatic monitoring's check for connectivity is allowed through the firewall when the backup WAN connection is dormant, waiting to be called into service?  I don't want to find out our backup internet connection is down when we need it in a failover condition.
