huge Problem with smtp out, exchange behind astaro

Hi all,

we use our Astaro a couple of years now. But since this morning we have a problem with sending mail. 
They all keept in the mal queue. 
We use Exchange2003 on a Small Business Server2003. 
We use the Exchange SMTP-Conncetor. 

I have also tried "telnet smtp.1und1.de 25" and also tested with accounts within outlook express. nothing works. A normal ping works fine. 

Its an astaro 6.314 
I have restarted the astaro couple of time and also the SBS

Any ideas? 
how can I test what happens in the astaro.

    Do you still have your mail server listed in the "allow relay from" on Proxies >> SMTP?

    Do you still have a packet filter rule that allows SMTP traffic from your internal lan to go out? (Probably something like "Internal (Network) -> Any -> Any")

    If you haven't made any recent changes to the Astaro box, I'd suspect some change in the SBS configuration.

    Well, maybe it's your ISP.  When you try the telnet from outside your firewall, what happens?

    Also, since the 6.314 update was related to DNS, check that the DNS proxy has the correct IPs.

    Hi BAlfson,

    the SMTP Proxies is always disabled. We do not use it.

    With our exchange we send mail with the SMTP Connector over our provider.

    The packet filter rule is there.

    I guess the problem could only be the astaro. I tested it on another client but nothing works. I tried it also with normal mailaccount in outloop express. nothing. Timeout

    Everything else work as ever. 

    Any idea?
