Limewire Issue Packets Dropping - BUG?

I've got this weird issue and I'd like to know if its a misconfiguration or a bug somewhere. I've done some packet rules to allow limewire to open and connect approprietly.

My first is a DNAT rule: Which allows MY PC to listen on port 6346 which is also configured in limewire for both "Listening Port" and "Manual Router Port" per the instructions. Auto Packet Filter Rule = OFF

Secondly, are the Packet Rules: I've even went as far as opening 6346 incoming and outgoing directory to my PC. Only reason was because I saw my log denying that port on incoming. So I did both ways to be safe.

This is of course my log, which mostly is allowing the packets to and from. I get a connection fine, thats not the problem.

My Problem IS

When Limewire is up and running and Im doing searching, my PC loses connection to the internet. I can't get to any website, let alone the Astaro Admin CP. If I shut down limewire completely, my connection is restored and I can get back on websites. So weird [:(]

Any ideas on this one?

FWIW, the drops are packets that aren't matching your network definitions... you might want one that says source port 6346, dest port 1024-65536

I've done your recommendation and although the ports are now open and I see traffic going through, my internet connection still does not work. I can't think of anything else

Are you running the latest version? (7.103)

Check the CPU & memory usage.

Well firstly, this is the entry I found in the logs, when I goto open up a webpage with limewire open and downloading something. Internet works fine if limewire is open, just once I make a connection and start downloading 1 thing, it drops.

Looks OK...

Under IM/P2P security, is everything turned off?
(should be off)

You might also try disabling the Intrusion Protection (IPS) under Network Security to see if that makes a difference.

Current version is 7.103, btw.

wow hmm, I'll do some more testing later, but with the IPS turned off, everything seems to be working. I can get to web pages now. Wow, weird... Why the heck would that be causing it.. hmm. Maybe its the UDP flood protection or something thats turned on

There are no thresholds on the port scan tab

Sorry, I was thinking of the UDP flood protection.

Odd that Limewire would trigger the PSD... eMule and BitTorrent don't for me.
You're just running Limewire on one PC, right?

Well for now yes. I have limewire installed on 2 other pc's, but no rules have yet been defined for those PC's, just my own.

Ya, it is very odd that the portscan detection is causing the issue. Your right on that.
