vlan and firewall

on 2 port eth0 = 192.168.33.1 and eth1 = 192.168.33.2 are member in vlan 1on eth1 is a host x.x.33.5
and on eth0 is host x.x.33.8 konekted
so I made a Firewall rule, that this 2 host are blogged, but it does not work always is a connection availebille.

What I am doing wrong?

Hi,
your problem would appear to be one of addressing. You have 2 seperate interfaces in the same address space. Make eth1, 192.168.34.1 and try again.

Sorry I undestand it so, that in a vlan in a switched enviroment, the networkclass musst be the same. if all nodes are in the same networksegment then will vlan work.

Each interface (real or VLAN) needs to have it's own subnet.
If you have it this way, please re-describe the configuration.

Is this on the astaro so? normally is a Vlan a broadcast domain. Please look here

On a 3com or cisco switch you can implement accesslist.
Is this also possible on the astaro.
