Ok. I got the masquerading set up, and can access the internet. The problem now is that the internet is incredibly slow, close to dial up speeds. It takes 3 minutes to load up google. What could be the issue?

Can you check your Internet options in IE (Automatically detect settings) or network settings in FireFox (direct access to Internet) maybe that will help?
The slow Internet problem may be caused by excessive packet drop. This can be caused by a number of different problems, but the first items that I would suspect is the Ethernet cards and cables.
what and where are your DNS settings ....
You need to ensure your DNS lookups are right or it can take for ever to resolve a WEB site ... do you have any IP address based websites (try 130.57.5.25 which is www.novell.com) then try the response time to that via IP and DNS .....
