Masq Problem with virtual interfaces

I have 5 IP's assigned on the WAN side of my firewall with one inteface card this is set as xxx.xxx.xxx.97 the others 98,99,100 etc are additional addresses on the interface card. I want to enable masq fron internal to xxx.xxx.xxx.100 but the only intefaces shown are internal,dmz and 97 is there a reason for this ?

masquerading can only be applied to real interfaces, afaik.

Assuming we are talking about V5, this is only true for simple masquerading.
But selecting DNAT/SNAT you can easily masq on virtual interfaces.
