snort updates

I am curious..the latest rules updates are dated the 24th..but the latest ips updates are dated the 11th. What is Astaro's snort update policy? I ma just curious...[:)]

Hi William,

the current ruleset delivered by Astaro is still up to date.
Concerning the rules from the Snort project: they are written to a TGZ archive every day automatically. This means that the timestamp changes every day. However, this does not mean that the rules themselves have actually changed.
