can't get dsl to connect

Hi I'm totally new to astaro. I follwed the dsl manual from the docs archieve, but my dsl will not connect. I'm on a windows 2000 domain. I've configured my internal windows dhcp server to point to astaro for its gateway. I also configed the browser to point to astaro for its proxy. Can some please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I also have allow on all traffic in the packet filters section.

    What type of DSL do you have , Is your DSL a static IP account or dynamic  What DSL provider are you using ...... 

    Post what you have done so far and its possible that we can help you.

    I have bellsouth dsl and my ip is dynamic. I'm connecting via ppoe. I've setup the external interface for my bellsouth connection. I than configured the dns proxy and the http proxy. The dns proxy was set to serve request from my internal interface. I also listed my isp's dns servers in the dns forwarding section. I than setup a packet filter to allow all access. Like I stated before I'm on a windows 2003 domain. So I set up my win 2003 dhcp server to give out the ip address of the internal interface as my default gateway. I also went ahead and configured ie 6.0 to use astaro as a proxy.

    What NAT rules have you defined so far?

    At a minimum, you need to masquerade the External interface.
    Do you have a NAT rule like the one below?

    Internal_Network__-> All / All MASQ__External  None
