TCPdump download from webadmin is encrypted?

So I am attempting to download a pcap file from x.x.x.x.com/tcpdump.pcap similar to  what is outlined in https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000038909?language=en_US .

I am writing the file to /var/sec/chroot-httpd/var/webadmin/tcpdump.pcap but whenever I attempt to access this via web browser it does not prompt a download and displays what appears to be encryption and not any discernable pcap file. Has anyone experienced this or can shed light into where I am screwing up? Thanks.

    Hi ,

Thank you for the update! I'm glad that your issue is resolved now.

I experienced this issue in the past, and it turned out to be a browser issue. I think the browser was trying to open the file instead of downloading it. I was not able to find that setting, but yes, it worked with other browsers. :)

    Thanks,
