Hi There,
We've been moving our customer base over to new UTM SG 105's and have had very good results thus far.
We have a customer that decided to bring in dual DSL lines to load balance/fail over their Internet.
First line they had from AT&T on an old Netopia modem from 2006. We bridged it and put it on eth1 as the Primary External with a Static IP
Second line was new also with AT&T. This is a newer modem also setup in bridge mode and set up on eth2 as the backup.
Both lines are separate accounts with different PPPoE user/pass. The backup line works flawlessly all the time. The primary will randomly go down throughout the day and show a Link "Error". A manual reconnect on the interface brings the link back up and switches traffic back to this connection as expected.
I've tried setting it as static/DHCP, VDSL but still get the same results or it doesn't connect at all. We also swapped out the Netopia and still get the same Link errors. No issues on the DHCP backup and traffic switches normally.
Any help would be appreciated. We are on the latest firmware and have base license.
