Option 3 Router - DHCP options

DHCP option 3 is routers and in theory it should take a list of ip addresses in order of preference which will be distributed to clients as the default gateway. not only does opton 3 not allow entry of more than 1 ip address but it doesnt change the default gateway ip.. any ideas?

    You do not mention what version you're running.  Always do so when asking for help.  Be aware that DHCP options were broken in 9.204 and 9.205, fixed in 9.206.

    You should be able to distribute multiple IPs by using a Network Group instead of Host object.

    After adding the new DHCP option, make certain that you enable it by moving the slider to the right (it'll turn green).

    sorry .. i assumed that you would assume i was using the latest.. I am on Current firmware version: 9.309-3


    still have that problem.. option 3 if i understand it properly should allow me to specify more than one default gateway...
