Voucher

Hi everybody,

I create a wifi hotspot, and add vouchers to use in this hotspot, everything works fine, vouchers are accepted etc, everything is OK.

But I am front of one doubt, I try founding in the Web Protection report the reporting about the sites surfed by this voucher but I cannot  found.

Is vouchers not logged in the reports ?

Also I checked in the Log Files / Hotspots and the log is 0 bytes.

    Hi Scott_Klassen, in this case only one factor is need to be evaluated the focus of the box, no more this is necessary to implement logging of the voucher hotspot user.

    If is necessary put eyes in the local user, is not much difficult understand that is need put 2x plus eyes in the transit users, so the reallity is that the voucher hotspot user is the most dangerous user by many, many factors, so this is unbeliveble² how the Sophos sell it without take care with the voucher Hotspot users.

    In advanced anyone here know that the effort is not so hard because the logging is already implemented with Backend Authentication that use much more effort if you considerating integration with AD-DS, Radius etc...

    Faced that the focus of the UTM is security it was never released without logging voucher hotspot user.

    I keeping unbeliveble that Sophos not solve it yet, I just check the feature request provided by lferrara and this feature was requsted at  November 10, 2012 so this is not unbeliveble, this is crazy !!!
