[BUG] 9.206-35 DHCP stops working

We found several of our customers report an non working HotSpot Solution.

After we have checked the logs, the result was - no client recieves an IP and no entrys about any DHCP communication are in the log.

The solution was to DISABLE/ENABLE the DHCP service on the UTM. The system works well after that.

There are NO entrys in the log about the DHCP issue!



We have now three different UTM Installations with that problem.


Could other people confirm that issue?

  • Sounds like you have some commercial licenses there... have you tried opening a support case with Sophos?  Remember, while occasionally Sophos staff does peruse this site, it is not the place to get support if you need official support.

    And no, haven't seen that here (we manage many, many customers).
