User Portal WAN access - Lost!

Hey guys/gals,

New to the Astaro/Sophos UTM family. I recently purchased a UTM 220 and am in the process of getting everything configured but I am completely lost when it comes to setting up the User Portal for WAN access. I can access the portal just fine, but am clueless as to how I get things going from the WAN side.

Any guides out there or can someone give me a step-by-step outline on what to do? Google search has been little to no help at ALL.

The UTM 220 is connected to a Comcast Business Gateway and is also linked with Windows AD servers.

  • Hi, is the "Comcast Business Gateway" doing NAT? e.g. is the UTM's external address in the 192.168.x.x or 172.16 - 172.31 or 10.x.x.x range?

If so, I'd recommend getting rid of the "Comcast Business Gateway" or bridging it.
