[8.306] PPTP disconnects after a 2-3 minutes

Hi,

We have pptp remote access set up for a few of our users. One user who claims to not have changed anything in their network or on their computer, has very frequent disconnects since a while.

That user claims to have had those disconnects both in their vacation (every 10-15 minutes) where they connected through their laptops LAN connection, as well as now at home where they connect through the WLAN (every 2-3 minutes), the latter I can actually verify.

Because of that it seems to me the router and/or the network card is not the guilty part. Furthermore, I can connect for hours without any disconnects with one of my remote systems and my iphone.

    Hi and thanks for your reply. Do you have any idea what it could be? If I understand the logs correctly, both sides basically say "the other side hung up on me".
    I already checked if the router is able to handle GRE and it should be. I also pretty much tested any option available on both sides with no effect.
