Finally got around to trying some reporting on our web use. For me the reporting is a disappointment, particularly as I hoped that I would be able to generate reports similar to Web Security Statistics page with its 10 top users, 10 top sites etc etc. Were it possible to send such a report to the departments, I believe it would be very useful and communicative. Were I to try and approximate this information I would need to create 8 or so separate reports for each department, and would lack graphics (unless I created another 8 separate reports with graphics).
I wonder whether others have tried the reports and what their assessment has been.
In conclusion, it's a pity that the format designed and displayed under Web Security Statistics hasn't been given as a choice under the reporting options!
