daisy chaining routers

I've got a wired router with my main computer, my xbox 360, and my astaro box plugged into it.  I just got a laptop and I'm wanting to get a wireless router.  Can I plug the wireless router into one of the ports on the wired router and still get a connection with the astaro box?

    Depends on your wired router.  Most of the time ports on a router are just switch ports or hub ports, and in that case you'll be fine.  But if the wired router has some kind of firewall on it and the ports on the router are tied into the firewall it might take some configuration.  Odds are good though that the ports all function as part of the same subnet in which case you could just plug in the wireless and you'll be able to see your astaro just fine.  Easiest way to find out is just to plug it in and see what you get.  You won't break anything: the worst that can happen is you see nothing and in that case you'll find out quickly that you need to do some configuring on your wired router.

    The next part of the question is this: do you want your wireless connections to run through the astaro, or are you just using it for something else?  If you want protection for your wireless network, you won't get any by plugging the wireless router into the wired router.
