Problem with creating User [unknown error]

I cannon create anymore Users. As you can see the error "unknown error appears". Deleting a User doesn't help. Any suggestions?

And i also checked the Log

    Hi, Rios, and welcome to the User BB!

    This truly seems to be "UNKNOWN"!  Have you tried rebooting?  Restoring a backup?  If those haven't worked, then copy a recent backup onto a USB memory stick, reload from ISO, and restore by booting with the USB memorystick inserted.  This is unusual eough that you should have your reseller open a support ticket if this is a commercial, and not a "home", license.

    The Problem was after updating to 7.508. Used the backup before the update (7.507)and it worked. I updated 5 days ago again to 7.508. Now it works with the latest firmware.

    Probably something internally got wrong in the configuration database.
    Anything interesting in the confd-debug.log ?

    I am having the same problem with the unknown message appearing when trying to do the basic setup. I have read other posts and they tell me to update the firmware. How do I achieve this when i cannot access the web portal?

    Try reinstalling using a newer ISO.  If your system only has 512 MB (version 1 or v1 220), then you'd be best to stay on 7.x, ftp://ftp.astaro.com/ASG/v7/hardware_appliance/iso/ssi-7.509-101215-1.iso .  If you system has 1GB of memory, then you can go with v8, ftp://ftp.astaro.com/ASG/v8/hardware_appliance/iso/ssi-8.102-2.1.iso .  You will need a usb cd drive to do this reinstall.

    If you have a previous backup file, you can put it onto a usb thumb drive and on reboot, the astaro will detect and apply the backup file.  I can't remember what version this feature was added to and 7.1x may be too old for this to work.

    Scott, Astaro is telling me that they never recommend upgrading to 7.4 or above with only 512 meg.  I suspect that a unit with maximum RAM use under 70% over the last year could Up2Date to the latest version of V8 - I hope to test that next week with an old 220.  I plan to disable IPS and disconnect from the LAN to minimize memory requirements.
