Hello,
I have some issues with our DHCP Server, which is configured on our Astarto 220 Gateway.
We have an DHCP Range for round 250 Clients configured.
Some Clients try to retrieve an ip-adresse from our DHCP Server. For instance, if I monitor such a client, I can found follwing entries in the DHCP Live Log:
2010:08:18-13:25:13 firewall dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.249.169 from 00:1f:5b:57:48:42 (MiB27-312) via eth2
2010:08:18-13:25:13 firewall dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.249.169 to 00:1f:5b:57:48:42 (MiB27-312) via eth2
Which for me seems, that our server is providing the client with an appropriate Ip-Adresse. But, for some reason, the client never gets this adress. Instead, the client is complaining that he can't retrieve any.
If I delete a few entries from the dhcp.leases file on our astaro, then afterwards it is working fine.
May I ask you, where and how can I find out when we are out of IP-Adresses. Is there a logifile in which such information is logged. The "Lease Table" overview didn't state this information. At present, I can't increase our DHCP Range.
Thanks
Jo
