WOL through Astaro

does anyone knows if is possible to send a "magic packet" from internet through the ASG in order to remotely turn on sleeping server?

    Bob, I think it's not possible with astaro, since it does not permit the NAT to a broadcast address. I think I'll have to build an application that will run on a always on pc. I have to decide if it will be a web application or just a windows service (in this case it will receive the magic packet from internet and it will re-send to broadcast). Tell me If you are interested, I'll give you (for free [;)] )

    In any case, it will be a fun feature to implement directly in ASG

    Hallo!

    You may connect to the ASG via SSH and use following command:
    /usr/sbin/ether-wake -i INTERFACE MACADRESS
    for example
    /usr/sbin/ether-wake -i eth0 00:11:22:33:44:55
