[6.3xx] Not receiving notifications

I got two Astaro 6.3xx boxes (software) which I don't get the notifications/backups/reports from. Strange thing is that it works fine for the last 6.3 box I have. Same receiver-email and same ISP for three.

Where do I go about to find out why it's not working for two of them?

    Aha!  I took the flashlight out of my mouth, turned it off, stood up, turned the knob on the other side of the door so that the screw was now on top, slotted my small screwdriver into the screwhead and tightend it with ease.  At the age of 47, I finally, really understood my father's old mantra: "Always fix the easy things first."

  • Hmm. I've tried with and without smart host. No emails arrive.

    I've found the reason though, in my smtp proxy log:

    2009:10:19-16:07:55 (none) exim[27861]: 2009-10-19 16:07:55 1Mzstv-0007FM-3O ** do-not-reply@fw-notify.net R=smarthost T=remote_smtp: SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:: host smtp.tdc.no [62.73.241.55]: 550 5.7.1 : Recipient address rejected: Cannot connect. Please contact customer support 02150.


    How can I change the email address? My ISP doesn't allow sending email with unknown domain as you can see.
  • Joffer, I would update your system(s) to Version 7; Version 6 is no longer supported, and reached End Of Life at the beginning of this month.  In Version 7 there is a place to change the sender email address, etc. as required; it's been so long since I've looked at Version 6 I can't recall if it was even an option in that version.
