Astaro simply stops responding on smtp, ssh, webUI

Guys,

for a few days now, I have a problem with our (now) 7.401 installation.
The ASL simply stops answering to SMTP requests, it doesn't respond to SSH logins and neither answers on the webUI port - besides, console login isn't working, too.

Any ideas? I happened to have the same problem on another hardware (tried installing Up2Dates, didn't help though), where the firewall even repeatingly denied routing after a few days - and I suspected bad hardware back then.

    Hi SoCalSE, you could have a hardware problem... start with checking the fans.

    Brand new hardware I built myself - fans are okay, but thanks for the idea.  The lone exception is the 4x port PCI NIC which is quite old... the rest is brand new Atom 330 / 2GB of RAM / 250GB SATA HDD.

    This was used as a CentOS VM Server for about 2 months, with ASG running as a VM without issue.  I am thinking the virtualized NIC vs. the ASG running native NIC drivers might be the door to my pain.   We'll see...
