Reporting broken after change of lan ip/subnet

I have changed my ip subnet for the lan side and ever since I have done that ASL 6.303 is no longer able to report network activity.
Not only that but SNMP monitoring has also stopped functioning because I can't connect with PRTG to ASL anymore.
I changed the ip address back to the original subnet but didn't make any difference.
I can't understand why an ip address/subnet change would have such consequences.
Any help would be apreciated and thanks in advance for any suggestions on how to resolve this.
