SNMP problem - snmpwalk

ASG220:I've enabled SNMP request. After receiving many lines from command snmpwalk -c public -v 1 i receive the message "Timeout: No Response from ". Note that the same request to Astaro Security Linux 5.201 works fine.

I can't seem to get my firewall to work and get the same time out. I have the internal network defined for access. I get time outs also. Also would anyone happen to know what OID string I would need to get the external IP address? I need this to have the DYNDNS custom DNS client to be able to read the external IP

Turns out Intrustion Protection rule was blocking. Turned that off and SNMP works now. It was a rule in the SNMP rules set

Rules for SNMP protocol
SNMP request udp - ID 1417
SNMP public access udp - ID 1411

You could also turn off the IPS on the internal interface.

Thanks. Sounds like this should be mentioned on the SNMP settings page, and added to the docs & KnowledgeBase.
