DNS Proxy Problems

Hello,
6 Weeks run the ASL 5.1 fine. But three times i have this problem. For my PCs i use the ASL as DNS Server. it works fine but sometimes nslookup, internet explorer etc. can´t resolve any DNS Names. First time i search very long to fix this problem. now i know, only turn dns proxy off / on an everthings is fine.
i am the only one with this problem?

    I had the same problems.

    How is your dns proxy configured?
    Which dns forwarders do you have. Do you use an inside dns or did you put in there the dns servers of your provider?

    DNS-Proxy makes a round robin. So if your configured more than one Forwarder and one of them send crap, you might receive crap. A restart of the DNS-Proxy might switch to another DNS in the list.

    the DNS proxy  utilises the first answering server regardless if its responses make sense or not - the bad thing is that as long as the faulty server responds the proxy never queries other configured DNS servers , so it is not really Round Robin :-(

    i don´t know if i understand this. You think that the DNS Server from my ISP resolve the question not correct? The Server is not down and answer, but only trash?
