No HTTP pages or graph in Executive Report

Hi Andreas,

sorry, HTTP Proxy is running in user authentication mode, access log, Content filter=ON, only one IP as trusted domain, black and white list no URL-entries, Caching=ON.

But ASL did not react....

OK, this is a bug. The problem is in that case that content filter is turned on, but no request scanning is done. Therefore, the content filter can not log any information regarding HTTP requests.  The reporting tries to gather information from the content filter (because it is turned on), but to no avail.

Easy workaround -  either disable the content filter (should not be a problem because you don't use it with your configuration anyway) or enable at least some kind of request scanning facility (blacklist, surf protection, virus scanning).

Yes, because no request scanning is configured. I made an error in my last posting - virus scanning does of course NOT count as request scanning (because the request obviously never is infected).
Therefore, you configured no facility which provides request scanning, but the content filter is turned on, which leads the system to the assumption that it can gather the needed information from the content filter.

As written before, the workaround would be to use a blacklisted URL (one which does never match would suffice) or turn on SP.

In the meanwhile, I fixed that bug. Let's see how fast it goes through QA and makes it into an Up2Date package :-)

thanks for the reply. I added a URL to the Blacklist. Lets see what happens. 

Can you have a look at the accessed Pages under reporting (See Screenshot) this looks also weird....

Hi, Is anyone experining the following with Executive report.

I can see the HTTP Accessed sites in the logfiles, but i have no listings for Blocked sites.

I run the following configuration:

HTTP Proxy - Transparent  - Log Full - Anon - none

15-20 URL's Listed in Whitelist 
5 URL's in Blacklist

There is also no listings in the Browse logs under Blocked sites. I have contacted Astaro Support and they suggested to check date settings. I have done so, deleted the HTTP logs as per Support requests and was to wait two days for the logs to re-appear. I have now been checking over the last 3 weeks and yet no blocked sites logs are appearing. Does anyone know what may be going on here.. thanks.

When re-posting this, please include your ASL version. If you try to request one of your 5 blocked URL's, you get blocked by the firewall but the request is not shown in Local Logs -> Browse -> HTTP Blocked Sites ?
