CPU load graph

Hello.

I just read the help file for the CPU load graph and wanted to know if i get the point...
If i have a value of more than one over a long time, than the CPU is to weak?

I have an maxiumum of 1.17 in the 1 minute average and a maxiumum of 0.2 (i think this is what 200.00m means) in the 15 minute average.

Is this a high value? Should i be worried?

What are your values?

And maybe someone knows, why this isn't the percentage graph anymore in v5? What are the advantages?

    The graph shows the number of processes that have flagged as waiting for CPU time.  ie If the graph averages 3 then 3 processes are waiting (delayed).

    If you average under 0.5 then on average, no processes are ever put in queue to access CPU. (Fast)

    So the lower the graph the better.
    (At least that's my understanding  of it  )

    in theory seeing how many processes are waiting in line due to high cpu load is a better indication of cpu usage than the cpu usage percentage..

    In reality(at least for me) it is confusing and i prefer hte cpu percentage usage back.  

    Frankly even with my cpu usage(in v5) up at 8(which is supposed to be very very bad) i did not notice any degregation of performance in any way(this was in the early v5 version due to big pop3 issues) with the rest of the system.  Just my .02

    I don't think the averages are working right.

    On 5.012, My yearly graph shows a big spike in April, so I understand why the yearly Average is high.

    However, the Average is also high (260-300+) on the daily, weekly, and monthly graphs, even though the Max is only 1.39 on the daily.

    Seems like the daily Average isn't.

    That was in April.
    I think it was from some bug in one of the Release Candidates.

    But the daily average still seems wrong.

    I think he means 300.00m, what is like 0.3 in my opinion... (See first thread)
