All proxies, VPN, Virus detection, SPAM, IDS turned off.
about 10 packet filter rules.
NAT/IPMasq enabled.
The HW reporting page shows CPU usage consistently at about 8%.
I briefly enabled IDS the other day after installing the new License file and the CPU report then went DOWN to about 2%
I disabled it after a few hours and the report now shows 8% again.
However!
When I login to the box with SSH and run top, uptime etc I see the Load Avg at around 5 with little idle CPU. Utilization is consistently 90%
I suppose the reporter uses SAR but should TOP be that FAR off?
Also,
I don't run socks, smtp, HA or a number of other features yet I see their "reporter" PERL scripts running!
