User Authorisation HTTP access

HTTP PROXY USER AUTHORISATION
-----------------------------------------------------    
I  have enable User Authorisation on HTTP Proxy .
Create a User web Password gary.
(select allowed featiure HTTP)

Started a HTTP session .  Up pops   request for Usermane and Password  on the PC
Enter the user and password .  
HTTP session failed  .

Can find any information on the firewall on the failure.

    ... looks like you have IE 6 - there is a bug after authentication: you get a error message - a reload should show you the site.

    Solution: look for q331906.exe in Google since this patch can not be downloaded from M$

    Have update Explorer ,now get three changes to login.

    Have created another user ,still the same problem.

    There is log PPTP usesr , WebAdmin but no HTTP user log.

    THIRD ATTEMPT with user password . Sniffer started.

    From a sniffer trace , the PC is sending a response when I hit return key on the keyboard. 

    Then two further HTTP messages from Firewall which is the error messge

    I need verify that  firewall has process the response.

    Where do  I look ?????

    A did not see the  Authentication   method  table and by default there is no entry .

    Once I selected    local user .Everything  burst into life.

    Must remember to scroll through the whole screen
